Re/Luxe Boutique was founded to inspire consumers to extend the life of their excess luxury items, reduce the negative impact on the planet and support a cause. This is where Philanthropy meets Sustainability. This is not e-commerce. This is our responsibility.
Re/Luxe wants to drive awareness of an important and urgent issue.
The production and consumption of luxury items is increasing. The luxury resale market is growing. We want to create another avenue for luxury item manufacturers and owners to dispose their excess – donate and let the sales contribute to a charity of your choice.
This seems like a fairly simple concept, right? Wrong. Donating a car or Art or fine jewelry is not that easy – the rules and processes are disconnected, and there is waiting for paper receipts or forms in between steps. We at Re/Luxe are committed to creating an End to End digital process, modernizing the experience and using technology to improve and increase the value to the donors, buyers and charities.
This is intended to truly democratize Luxury Giving.
We have learnt to recycle paper and plastic. In 10 years, we hope it is going to become as second nature for us to recycle luxury items, as it is to recycle paper today.
Several leading manufacturers have taken a step in this direction already - Car manufacturers, Luxury brands and designers. We want to extend this Luxury item manufacturers and owners 8 categories.
